The Redemption Center is at the heart of Rock of Hope’s mission. Everything we do there is in preparation for the fulfillment of God’s plan to “Light the Darkness” in downtown Hagerstown.

THE VISION

The Redemption Center is a triage for those who are lost and hurting, a refuge from this world where people can come in and cast their cares on Jesus, where they can be set free from the penalty and power of sin by accepting Christ as their Lord and Savior. It is a place where people can hear and understand the word of God and learn how to live according to the will of God, where salvation can be received, souls can be redeemed, and lives can be restored for the glory of God.

The Redemption Center is a place where people can experience the love of Jesus as He meets their needs, heals their wounds, and reveals their purpose, a place where those of us who are walking with Christ can lead others to Christ.

The Redemption Center is not a church. It is an extension of The Church. An outreach ministry designed to reach those who do not, will not, or cannot come to the church. Those who do not because they do not understand the need for a relationship with Christ, those who will not because they have been hurt or offended by a church, and those who cannot because a lifestyle of bondage holds them captive.

The Redemption Center provides people the opportunity to be redeemed, reconciled, and restored. Equipping them with the ability to put down roots in a bible-teaching church and begin to grow and serve the Lord in their walk.

THE NEED

The Redemption Center is funded completely by tax-deductible donations. We trust the Lord to provide all our needs and all services are provided by a volunteer staff.

We accept donations of food, clothing, personal hygiene items, and, of course as all non-profit organizations, we are in need of monetary support as well. We offer financial reports and tax receipts upon request for the kindness of any donation.

THE CALL

Do you have a heart for lost souls, particularly for the downtrodden, the addicted, the homeless, those whom society has forgotten?

Are you looking for a way to make a difference in someone’s life?

Please consider helping us to serve God by helping to serve these people.

Ministry opportunities include: cooking, serving meals, ministering, counseling, praying, and donating food, clothes, and hygiene items as well as providing general building maintenance.

THE PRAYER

Please take some time to pray about supporting the Redemption Center. If you do not feel led to support us with a donation at this time please consider keeping us in your prayers, seeking spiritual strength and physical protection for our volunteers, and for the salvation, healing, and deliverance for all those we minister to.

Thank you so much for taking the time to find out what God is doing through Rock of Hope Ministries at the Redemption Center.
